Oxygen production
An eight-year-old poplar with an average height of 10-15 meters, with a trunk diameter of 10-15 cm at a height of 1.3 m will produce 10-15 kg of oxygen per year.
Assuming that 2500 trees are planted per hectare, we have 25-37.5 tons of oxygen per year from one hectare, we have planted exactly 72 hectares of poplars, which gives us 1800-2700 tons of oxygen from the entire forest area per year.
For comparison, a person consumes an average of 740 kg of oxygen per year, which shows us that our forest produced oxygen for 2433-3648 people during the year, the nearby Zalewo has about 2000 inhabitants.
